Editorial Policy

Editorial & Ethics Guidelines for Supply Chain Integrity
LeelineWork maintains strict editorial independence. Our goal is to protect the importer’s interests, ensuring our recommendations are never compromised by factory or freight forwarder influence.
1. Mandatory Financial Disclosures
Our contributors must disclose any vested interests that could color their reporting on specific manufacturers or regions. This includes:
- Directorships/Ownership: Any equity held in sourcing agencies, freight forwarding firms, or specific manufacturing plants.
- Procurement Ties: If a writer is actively sourcing from a factory mentioned in a “Best Suppliers” list, this must be disclosed as a potential bias.
- Referral Transparency: We clearly distinguish between editorial recommendations and sponsored logistics partners.
2. “Feet on the Ground” & Sample Policy
Unlike generalist review sites, we do not accept “gifted” products for review.
- Factory Visits: When we conduct factory inspections for editorial content, LeelineWork covers all travel expenses to ensure our “Red Flag” reports remain unbiased and critical.
- Product Samples: Any samples received for the purpose of “Quality Control Guides” are either returned to the manufacturer or destroyed during “destructive testing” procedures. We do not keep samples as compensation.
3. Resistance to Industry Pressure
The sourcing industry is often plagued by “pay-to-play” supplier directories. LeelineWork maintains a strict wall between our advertising and editorial teams.
- Blacklisting Integrity: If a supplier or agent previously recommended by us is found to be engaging in “bait-and-switch” tactics or IP infringement, they are blacklisted from our content regardless of any past or potential advertising spend.
- Anti-Kickback Policy: We strictly prohibit our editors from accepting “rebates” or “commissions” from Chinese factories in exchange for favorable placement in our sourcing guides. Our loyalty remains exclusively with the end-user (the importer/buyer).
