Technical specifications

Our waterproof work shirts use a three-layer construction: a durable outer face fabric (nylon or polyester), a waterproof-breathable TPU or PU membrane in the middle, and a moisture-wicking inner liner. Unlike PVC rain gear, these shirts breathe — sweat vapor escapes while rain and spray stay out. All seams are heat-taped for a complete waterproof seal.

Manufacturing Process

How your workwear gets made.

Six quality gates from raw fiber to carton. All SOPs are documented, all batches fully traceable — from lot number to PO.

Fabric Sourcing & Lot Testing

200+ technical textiles sourced from certified mills. Incoming lots verified for tensile strength, colorfastness, fiber composition, and shrinkage before advancing to the cutting table. Mill certification data filed by lot — traceable to the source bale.

✓ Materials are pre-qualified before billing. No charge for yardage that fails spec.

Pattern Engineering & Pre-Production Sample

Gerber Accumark CAD pattern room. Every size grade gets validated on production-weight fabric — not muslin mockups — and a sealed pre-production sample is couriered directly to you for sign-off on the final fabric, fit, and trim before bulk cutting commences.

✓ Approve the finished garment after handling it — no cutting begins without your written confirmation.

Precision Cutting & Panel Inspection

Automated spreading and cutting with manual panel inspection at every ply. Pattern-matched stripes and plaids stay aligned. Fabric utilization engineered to hold waste down — competitive cost, consistent quality across the run.

✓ Better yield drives lower unit price. Sharper cut precision means dependable fit throughout the size grade.

Assembly Line Sewing

12 dedicated production lines, 240+ skilled operators. Triple-stitched main seams throughout. Bartacked stress points. YKK or equivalent hardware. AQL 2.5 inline sampling at every station — defects resolved on the spot, not discovered at final audit.

✓ Station-level inspection stops defect chains. A missed stitch caught mid-line costs half a minute — the same issue found at packing costs the garment.

Quality Control & Third-Party Lab Testing

  1. Incoming fabric lot testing — tensile, colorfastness, composition, shrinkage verified per roll.
  2. In-line AQL 2.5 sampling at every workstation — defects caught at the source.
  3. 100% dimensional check on critical measurements — shoulder, sleeve, body, chest individually measured.
  4. Third-party lab testing for your required standards — ANSI, NFPA, EN ISO, OEKO-TEX.
  5. Pre-shipment carton-level audit — quantity, labeling, barcode scan, poly-bag seal, and crush-test verified.

All inspection results documented, filed by PO number, available for your compliance records. No exceptions.

✓ Your compliance folder is ready before the shipment leaves — no scrambling during audit season.

Retail-Ready Packaging & Global Shipping

Individual poly-bagging, hang-tag attachment, fold-to-retail-standard. Carton manifest matched to your PO line by line with scannable barcode labels. FOB, CIF, or DDP — your choice of Incoterms. Customs clearance packet pre-filed digitally.

✓ Product arrives shelf-ready — no re-bagging, no re-labeling, no customs delays at the port.

All stages run to documented SOPs. All batches carry full traceability. Ready to see your workwear on our production line?

Compliance

Standards aren't stickers.
They're your legal defense.

Each certification we hold is backed by third-party audit reports. Here's what each one actually protects.

ISO 811
Hydrostatic Head Waterproof Test
  • Hydrostatic pressure resistance (> 10,000mm)
  • Water penetration under increasing pressure
  • Post-wash retention of waterproof rating

Garment certified to withstand heavy rain and spray — 10,000mm rating means a 10-meter column of water before any penetration.

EN 343
Protective Clothing Against Rain
  • Water penetration resistance (Wp class)
  • Water vapor resistance (Ret class)
  • Seam tensile strength

EU-certified rain protection. Your garments are rated for both waterproofness AND breathability — not just a plastic bag.

ISO 12947-2
Abrasion Resistance (Martindale)
  • Fabric surface abrasion to end-point
  • Pilling resistance
  • Appearance retention after mechanical wear

The outer face fabric withstands the abrasion of tool belts, harnesses, and equipment — waterproofing isn't compromised by wear.

OEKO-TEX 100
Harmful Substance Testing
  • Heavy metals
  • Formaldehyde
  • Pesticides & phthalates

Safe for extended skin contact. The waterproof membrane is free of PFOA/PFOS — no forever chemicals.

If your question isn't here, our RFQ desk responds within 24 hours — no sales pitch, just specs.

Water-resistant shirts repel light rain or mist for short periods. Waterproof shirts are seam-sealed with a membrane rated to withstand sustained rain and spray — ours are tested to ISO 811 at 10,000mm+ hydrostatic head. If your crew works in sustained wet conditions, waterproof is the only rating that keeps them dry through a full shift.

Unlike DWR (durable water repellent) spray-on treatments that degrade in 10–20 washes, our TPU/PU membrane is a physical barrier laminated between fabric layers — it does not wash out. The outer fabric may be treated with DWR for water beading, but the membrane provides the permanent waterproof seal regardless. Our seam tape is heat-bonded at 180°C+ and tested to 50+ industrial wash cycles.

We engineer for your specific climate. Our high-MVP membranes (5,000–10,000 g/m²/24h) allow sweat vapor to escape while blocking liquid water. For tropical environments, we pair a lighter face fabric (140–180 g/m²) with a high-breathability membrane and add underarm ventilation zippers. It's not a cotton t-shirt, but it's dramatically more comfortable than traditional PVC rain gear.

Standard MOQ is 50 pieces per SKU. All seam-sealing, membrane lamination, and waterproof testing are done in-house — no subcontracting delays. Pre-production samples ship in 5 business days. Bulk lead time is 15–20 days from sample approval.
